Zimbabwe drawn against Senegal, Guinea in Afcon finals

Zimbabwe has been drawn against West African giants Senegal and Guinea in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations finals to be hosted by Cameron early next year.

The other team in Group B are lightweights Malawi. Zimbabwe has been a poor run of farm in the past 12 months and the group might prove to be very difficult to navigate for the Warriors

Cameroon are set to take on Burkina Faso in the opening game.

The tournament is scheduled to get underway on January 9, 2022 and is set to conclude on February 6.

There will be a couple new nations at the tournament, with both Comoros and Gambia making their debuts at Africa’s biggest tournament, while Sierra Leone return for the first time since 1996.

The defending champions, Algeria begin the defence of their title against Sierra Leone while they were also drawn alongside Equatorial Guinea and two-time winners Cote d’Ivoire
