Andrea The Vocalist from the high density suburb of Chinotimba shot fame at the height of the Covid-19 lockdowns when a video clip of him singing a popular church hym, Uhambo, at a funeral wake went viral on social media.

He was immediately identified by popular South African pop artist Aubrey Qwana, who featured in the young musician’s first offering, a single titled Uhambo.

The feat has earned him a recording deal with one of Amapiano legends DJ Maphorisa and Aubrey Qwana.
