Ntando Moyo (42), Johannes Mpunzi (65) and Crosswell Moyo (34) were nabbed following a tip-off to the police on Wednesday that they were cultivating dagga.

Prosecutor Asher Chindedza alleged that on December 30, the Criminal Investigations Department received a tipoff that the three were cultivating dagga plants in their homesteads.

After obtaining a search warrant, police found Mpunzi cultivating 50 plants of dagga while Ntando and Crosswell had four each.
