The coal miners, who are affectionately known as Chipangano beat Arenel by a single goal in a top of the table clash in Bulawayo.

Hwange, who have made their statement clear that they wish to return straight to the top flight league, are yet to taste defeat after 16 rounds of matches.

Arenel, the only team that has been chasing the coalminers since day one, will feel hard done by this defeat as they were playing in their home ground.

Hwange have been brilliant so far despite the departure of head coach Bongani Mafu who joined Ngezi Platinum as an assistant to Benjani Mwaruwari.

The team never stopped winnig and credit should go to caretaker coach Obert Moyo.

The return of Hwange to the premier league will be exciting news to people of Matebeleland North, who have been starved of  top flight football for the past four seasons.
