The body of a Victoria Falls man, who went missing last Wednesday, was found floating in one of the rivers in the resort city on Sunday.
Nkosikhona Nyoni went missing last week before his clothes and mobile phone were found near a bridge over Masuwe River on Friday.
A family spokesperson Philani Nyoni said they were now appealing for assistance to bury their relative.
“We are kindly asking for contributions for the funeral of Nkosikhona Fanana Nyoni who drowned at Masuwe River,” Philani said in statement.
” We kindly ask for donations in terms of Ecocash or cash equivalent to US$1 or any amount.”
Residents started searching for Nyoni’s body on Saturday until 5PM.
Details were still sketchy about the condition of Nyoni’s body when it was discovered.
Those willing to assist Nyoni’s family can send their donations via Ecocash on 077 401 8635.
The number is registered under Philani Nyoni’s name
