Four die, eight injured in Binga horror crash

Four people died and nine others were injured when the driver of a car they were travelling lost control over the vehicle before  it overturned in Binga on Thursday, police have said.

The accident involving an Isuzu single cab vehicle happened the along Siabuzuba-Siabuwa Road.

Police in a statement said the accident happened at around 4PM and the vehicle landed on its roof.

“The ZRP reports a fatal road traffic accident which occurred along the Siabuzuba-Siabuwa Road on 15/09/22 at around 1600 hours,” police said.

“Four people died while nine others were injured, after a motorist who was driving an Isuzu single cab truck with 12 passengers on board, lost control of the car before it overturned and landed on its roof.

“Names of victims will be announced after the identification process is completed.”

Binga has a very poor road network.
Meanwhile, police said a 64 year-old man from Insiza district in Matabeleland South was burnt to death by a veld fire as he cleared his field at Lochard Village on September 12.
