Police are investigating a shocking incident in Nyamandlovu, Lupane, where two brothers died following a violent altercation reportedly sparked by a dispute over a funeral parlour pamphlet.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the incident occurred on Saturday last week. Preliminary investigations indicate that one of the brothers had received a funeral parlour pamphlet containing information on funeral service membership.
An argument allegedly broke out after one brother accused the other of intending to join Satanism. The dispute escalated into violence, with one brother reportedly striking the other several times on the head with a log.
Police say investigations into the circumstances surrounding the deaths are continuing.
